On January 6th 2009 all Ladybirds staff enjoyed training around the theme of ‘Participation’ . In short this means reflecting on how we listen to children and act upon what they say. The new Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum places great emphasis on how children can be involved in their own learning. Staff looked at a variety of ways that they could support and encourage children’s participation through the activities they enjoy at nursery.
